Talbot Rug Cleaning; The dusting step.

Never trust a carpet cleaner that says they can clean your rug in the home. They cannot do the most important step of rug cleaning; dusting. In this video, you will see how we use a duster to pound the dry soil out of the rug before we wash it.

Many rug cleaners “say” they wash rugs… But you need to ask the following question of any rug cleaner:

  1. Do you wash the rugs as designated by the Textile Pro Network? This include thorough inspection, treatment, dusting, washing and drying of the rugs. If a cleaner says that they will just use their “truck mounted” system they use on synthetic carpet, run for the hills. Natural fiber rugs cannot be cleaned in the same manner as carpet.
  2. Are you Textile Pro certified?
  3. Can I visit your location? Any professional rug cleaner should be able to show you how they clean the rugs. I clean rugs in Easton, Talbot County. Not all Talbot County rug cleaners are the same. We do all the work, your rug never leaves our custody. The other guys in town are just middlemen, schleping your rug to a faraway city for cleaning.
  4. Are you insured?
